The 1:48 stand model is a resensation of the Lockheed TR-1A/B aircraft, which is based on the well-known Lockheed U-2 award-winning Aircraft In the early 1950s, this aircraft experienced its first flight and was thus approved in 1955. Due to the large wingspan, the aircraft was possible to fly over 21,000 metres high. At the beginning, the aircraft was first by the C.I.A and then by the U.S.A.F. used.
